Am Anfang gab es 10 Care Bears. Dann wuchs die Familie und es kamen 8 Bären dazu, 11 Care Bear Cousins kamen später hinzu. Ausserdem kamen in England noch ein paar sehr seltene Care Bears auf den Markt!!!!

Grumpy Bear: Ah, my favorite curmudgeon! He feels his karma must be extraordinarilly unlucky; everything seems to happen to him. Then one day he realized he could be of service to those who felt the same way. Even the darkest cloud bears a silver lining -- just like his tummy symbol!
Good Luck Bear: Unlike Grumpy, Good Luck's karma is extraordinarilly lucky. It's as if his lucky stars take daily pleasure in smiling on him. Thus, with his ever-present four-leaf clover in paw, he goes out daily to share his abundant luck with those who feel they have none.
Love-A-Lot Bear: She's an incurable romantic, but she doesn't wear her heart on a sleeve -- she already has two on her tummy! She delights in sharing her love with everyone and teaching others about the greatest power in the world: Unconditional love of self and others.
Friend Bear: He's never met a stranger he didn't like, and probably never will -- he's never "met" a stranger! Everyone is a potential friend -- even the two daisies he carries are good friends. His goal is to teach everyone how to be a friend. "Hello, friend, It's good to be with you . . ."
Birthday Bear: He liked his first birthday party so much, he never stopped celebrating. He's always ready for a party, a birthday cupcake always in paw. Birthday Bear says never stop celebrating life -- the most precious gift we'll ever receive -- no matter what may come your way.
Bedtime Bear: The night guardian of the Kingdom of Caring. His hearing is sharp to hear a fearful cry for help, and his moon & star symbol lights the way so that we never need fear the night. No wonder he's so tired during the day!
Secret Bear: He bears a heart-shaped lock as a symbol of his vow to help you keep your most cherised, loving, secret hopes and dreams safe & sound. What's his most cherised secret? Better lean real close so he can tell you -- his voice is as soft as a whisper.
Champ Bear: Hello, sports fans! This bear's a pro when it comes to fair play and good sportsmanship. He bears the "loving cup" prize for teaching everyone that they're winners, too.
Share Bear: She loves to share the best of everything with a friend, even an ever-ready ice cream soda for two (her favorite!). She knows (and teaches others) that there's always enough love, caring, and good feelings to go around.
Harmony Bear: (Everyone sing along now . . .) "She likes to teach the world to love / In perfect harmony / and surround us all with a ring of hearts / to keep us company."
Baby Hugs Bear: A Care Bear on "training paws." She's so full of love that she hugs everyone she meets. She looks to Grams Bear for guidance in how to be the best Care Bear she can be.
Baby Tugs Bear: An intrepid little go-getter. This brave bruin keeps a close eye on his "little sister." He can't wait to be a "real" Care Bear, and his enthusiasm sometimes gets the better of him.
Grams Bear: The grand "spirit mother" of Hugs and Tugs, and a valued mentor for the entire Care Bears Family. As a seasoned "veteran", she knows just about all there is about being a Care Bear, and is more than ready to lend a hand or a patient ear to help anyone in need.
True Heart Bear: Also an experienced Care Bear, and one of the founders of the Kingdom of Caring. She is steady and firm in her guidance of the Care Bears in fulfilling their own chosen callings, and she helps us all stay true to who we really are inside.
